The Region of Waterloo is offering a program on behalf of the Provincial and Federal governments. This program provides low to moderate-income households with INTEREST FREE down payment assistance loans of 5% (up to a maximum of $10,000) of the purchase price of a home.
Completed applications must be received by the Region's Housing Division by 4pm on February 22. Starting in March, 133 households will be selected to receive down payment assistance through this program. Once selected, households have 90 days to obtain an accepted offer to purchase a new or resale home in Waterloo Region that has a maximum purchase price of $208,000.
